How to Plan a Trip to Yamunotri from Delhi

To plan a successful trip to Yamunotri, begin by choosing the right time. The temple opens in late April or early May and closes around October/November. The best months are May–June and September, when the weather is pleasant. Choose the vehicle type based on your group size—sedans for small families, SUVs for more space, or tempo travellers for groups.

We recommend a 5 to 6-day round trip, including one-night stays at Barkot or Rishikesh. After reaching Janki Chatti, you’ll need to trek approximately 5 km to reach the temple, or you can opt for mules or palkis, which we can arrange in advance. Our team helps with itinerary planning, accommodation options, and en-route assistance to make your yatra seamless and fulfilling.
